What tools and equipment are required for my project?
To ensure proper installation of Rhino Carbon Fiber systems, we recommend reviewing our complete list of tools and equipment before starting your project. Essential items include a 5” Surface Grinding Dust Shroud Kit, tuck point grinder, hammer drill, concrete drill, battery-powered epoxy gun, safety goggles, coveralls, and painter’s tape. For larger jobs, scissor lifts, scaffolding, or cherry pickers may also be required. This checklist is designed to help contractors work efficiently and meet industry standards.
What if I receive the wrong products?
If you receive an incorrect item, do not open or use it. Please take clear photos of the shipping box and each product received, and email support with “WRONG PRODUCT RECEIVED” in the subject line. Include your order number, payment method, and a summary of the error. We’ll provide a return label and instructions. Once inspected, we’ll ship the correct items and may provide a discount code of up to $50 for the inconvenience.
What if I order a discontinued item?
Sometimes during website updates, discontinued items may still appear as available. If this happens, your original order will be voided and a store credit will be issued for the full amount. A team member will contact you with updated product information or suitable alternatives. New orders must be placed through the website, and any price differences will be adjusted accordingly.
What if my payment fails at checkout?
Payment failures usually occur due to incorrect billing info, such as mismatched zip codes or invalid card numbers. ACH errors may happen if the routing or account numbers are entered incorrectly. Please double-check your details and try again. If the issue continues, email support with “PAYMENT PROCESSING ISSUES” in the subject line so we can investigate and assist.

Will carbon fiber straighten a wall?
No. Rhino Carbon Fiber is engineered to halt further inward movement but will not physically straighten a bowed wall. Additional structural corrections, such as excavation or realignment, may be necessary before reinforcement can be applied effectively.

What if my wall is bowed more than 2 inches?
Walls with over 2 inches of deflection typically require excavation or steel tie-back systems to push them back into alignment. Once the wall is reset, Rhino Carbon Fiber can be used to prevent further inward movement and provide long-term stabilization.
What are signs of foundation issues?
Common signs include interior wall or ceiling cracks, doors or windows that stick, sloping floors, and stair-step cracks in exterior masonry. You may also notice tilting chimneys, separated trim, or concrete features pulling away from the foundation—each a sign of structural movement.
Are foundation cracks serious?
Yes. Even small cracks may indicate underlying structural problems such as soil settlement or shifting. If left unaddressed, these cracks can grow and result in more costly damage. It’s important to consult a foundation repair expert as soon as cracks appear.
Is rebuilding my basement walls the only option?
Not always. While full reconstruction is sometimes needed in extreme cases, many moderately bowed walls can be reinforced using Rhino Carbon Fiber. This non-invasive solution is often more affordable and less disruptive while still delivering exceptional structural strength.
Can I prevent foundation settlement in new construction?
Yes. During construction, builders can install piering systems beneath the foundation to prevent future settlement. A foundation specialist can evaluate the site and develop a tailored plan to ensure long-term structural integrity for the new build.
Why is the Rhino Carbon Fiber bowed wall kit better?
Our patented Rhino Carbon Fiber bowed wall repair kit anchors the base of the foundation to the house framing, providing unmatched structural tie-in strength. It installs quickly, requires minimal disruption, and is backed by performance that exceeds traditional repair methods.
Can I paint over installed carbon fiber?
Yes. After the epoxy has fully cured, carbon fiber can be painted or coated to match existing walls. For best results, use products compatible with epoxy-based systems and always refer to your paint or coating manufacturer’s technical specifications.
Is UV protection required for outdoor installations?
Yes. The epoxy used with carbon fiber is sensitive to UV exposure, which can degrade its integrity over time. Outdoor installations should always be finished with a UV-resistant topcoat, paint, or stucco to ensure long-lasting protection.
